Stone Turtle Lagoon
"Are they stones, or ancient creatures stirring just beneath the surface?"
Some places exist only in the space between looking and knowing. Stone Turtle Lagoon was born from a feeling every ocean lover understands — that hopeful, held-breath moment of staring into clear water, willing a stone to move. To become something. The water does what water does: it bends light, blurs edges, and keeps its secrets.
This piece doesn't answer the question. It just keeps you looking.
Viewed from above, electric teal currents ripple across a hidden lagoon — luminous, alive, endlessly shifting. Scattered beneath the surface, dark mossy formations emerge and disappear with the light. Stone or shell. Rock or creature. The title gives it away, but the water never will.
