Multi-disciplinary artist and award-winning creative director, Melanie Rothwell is formally trained at Pratt Institute. Through evocative, immersive works, MADX delves into the depths of human identity, mythical realms, and fantastical creatures — inviting us to embrace the unexpected.

Her work begins where tradition meets the unknown. Oil paint. Pencil on paper. Her camera catching a rare moment and angle. Then, layer by layer — digital painting, photography, AI collage, motion design — each piece is built into something that couldn't exist any other way. Every element, every image, every world is conceived and directed by Melanie, realized through a process that is uniquely and entirely her own.

Inspired by dreams, imagination, human and animal emotion, water, nature's patterns, and mythological creatures and stories, her work has captured the attention of private collectors across New York, Miami, Dubai, Canada, Germany, and Italy. MADX has exhibited at renowned events such as Art Expo New York — as both a solo exhibitor and in gallery group exhibitions — Art Basel Miami, Nolcha Shows, and global Web3 digital art showcases. Each piece is available as an original, a limited edition print, or a digital collectible on-chain — sometimes all three.
